LiBuPlantDyeing was founded ten years ago. The brand designer, Zhang Meizhen, learned the traditional Bai ethnic tie-dyeing technique from her mother since childhood. Our core mission is to integrate the tranquil charm of handicrafts into modern life, while upholding respect and harmony with nature.

This mission guides our team of artisans in exploring natural plant dyes. We have fallen deeply in love with earthy tones such as indigo, sappanwood, and gardenia. For us, it is far more than a production process—it is a philosophy, a patience, a respect for raw materials, and a harmonious coexistence with the rhythms of nature. Rooted in the mountains of Yunnan, we create around the plant growth cycles of these southwestern Chinese mountains. We reinterpret this centuries-old craft, developing it into a vibrant and evolving art form that seamlessly integrates into modern home living.
