Journal 09 — Sheer Drapery and Light

A sheer curtain is never still.

Even when the room is quiet, light continues to move through it. Morning light makes the fabric appear pale and open. Afternoon light may bring warmth to the color. At dusk, the pattern may become softer, almost disappearing into the room.

This is the beauty of sheer drapery: it does not hold an image in a fixed way.
